Stage manager (noun): a magical device, usually fueled by caffeine, that brings order to chaos

hello, i’m glad you’re here!

My name is Emma Grace Tysinger, and I’m learning to be a stage manager. I am a senior at Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas where I will serve as the Co-President of the PHS Theatre Vagabond officers.

As a stage manager, my primary goal is to foster a safe environment where my fellow thespians can embrace the creativity of authentic theatrical storytelling while also leading an efficient process. Learn more about my approach and other values I try to uphold by reading my artist statement.

During my junior year (2025-2026), I participated in six of my high school’s seven productions, including being the production stage manager for Disney’s The Little Mermaid, our musical production that involved 120+ students across several fine arts departments, and stage manager for Days of Wine and Roses (UIL One Act, which advanced to Region) and Bright Star. View more of my resume.

In addition to my work, I devote time to give back to my arts community by serving as a member of the Slaughter Family Arts Awards Student Board. For several years, my work with the board involves championing fellow high school student artists throughout the Fort Worth and surrounding area.
